Welcome to Tealby School PTFA!
As a parent or guardian, having a child at Tealby School means that you are automatically a member of the school PTFA (Tealby School Parents, Teachers and Friends Association). We have an active Facebook page @TealbyPTFA and try to keep the noticeboard in the playground as up to date as possible.
The PTFA purely exist to support and nurture our wonderful school. When you support a PTFA led event, you’re not just baking a cake, writing a cheque or giving up your time to volunteer. You’re buying your child playground equipment to climb on at break time, sending them on outings to places they’ve never been, making new friends, building a community and helping to make your child’s school experience even more memorable and brilliant!
As a group we are a friendly set of parents, grandparents and guardians working in conjunction with the school. We hold social and fundraising events throughout the year and whilst your presence is a great support; we do also rely on a small committee of members and office holders to plan and host our events.
Support from teachers and parents is essential to our success and smooth running; whether you can contribute a cake to our Open Farm Sunday stall, your time to help at sports day or are prepared to take on a role within the committee. Any contribution of time or expertise will be gratefully received!
Please come up and say hello! We are very enthusiastic and always interested to hear your suggestions and ideas for fundraising.
