Year 2 spent some quiet time under the parachute in a sunny woodland creating dream catchers today. We went to look for Hazel saplings, spent a bit of time bending and tying them and then the really tricky part started.
Dreamcatchers are created using a series of carefully tied knots. This isn’t always easy, some found it trickier than others but no one gave up. The results were lovely.
There was also time to finish off the throwing sticks. They were stone sanded and fire hardened before putting fat on to shine them up. Then the fun part…throwing at the target.
