During this half term, class2 have been preparing for the Big Birdwatch run by the RSPB. To get ready, each week we made a different sort of bird feeder to encourage the birds in. These include fruit garlands, peanut butter and seeds and fat balls. We had a variety of birds visit the school grounds and on our hours birdwatch we saw, pigeons, crows, jackdaws, long tailed tits, blackbirds and sparrows. We have also learnt about habitats and investigated them and then drew them.
A very enjoyable project and all of our findings and drawings will be submitted to the RSPB.
