As home learning is now something we have to consider, you may be worried about how to balance supporting your child along with working at home. One thing you may want to consider is putting together a schedule for your child. We have put together a possible schedule which follows our school day - do not feel you have to follow it, choose some/all/none whichever suits your home the best. Take advantage of creative time - time when your child can play/make on their own - they would be doing this in school anyway. Don't be afraid to implement screen time!
To minimise disruption to pupils' learning, Twinkl are offering every parent access to their resources. As a parent, you will be able to access all their resources with a one month, Ultimate Membership, totally free of charge. To do this.... go to www.twinkl.co.uk/offer and enter the code UKTWINKLHELPS
Our staff will put links to work on these pages and you will be able to download sheets, powerpoint, quizzes, activities to support your child at home. The powerpoint will help you to show your child how we teach concepts and hopefully you will feel more confident to support them with their learning.
If you find you are struggling with ANYTHING regarding your child's learning, please email your child's class teacher and we will endeavour to answer any questions you have and signpost you to relevant documents/lessons/games to help you.
